So.....Hopefully your appetites have been sufficiently 'whet' for Jack and Susanna's full film. This is easily on of the most beautiful and heartfelt weddings I have ever SEEN, let alone had the chance and honour to shoot. As I mentioned in our earlier post, they have been together, changing each others lives for the better since they were 16 years old. The love for them by friends and family, and the love they had for each other was something very special, indeed.
Incredible details like the knitted flowers for the boys with vintage scrabble pieces for initials that Jack's sister made. A simply stunning feather bodice dress (well actually two dresses!) Even the flowers - done by the AMAZING Harber Floral Design were beautifully arranged and cut into hand made book safes?! Having made just ONE myself I know how time consuming this can be! There were vintage typewriters, a huge chandelier made from sheet music and even homemade jams, pickles and chutneys on the tables for guests. It was all stunning, and I am sure, exactly how these two had imagined their wedding day. But honestly, details don't make a wedding, the people do and these two people (who we are happy to call our friends!) are simply brilliant. I never saw a smile leave their faces the whole day.
I think Jack and Susanna had the perfect wedding, and it was because they knew each other so well and thought constantly about each other through the whole process. Everything they did was for each other, and I can't think of any better way to start out as husband and wife. So here is to the selfless and super talented Jack and Susanna. Ladies and gents, I give you.... 'Team Squires'
And stay tuned for part 2, showing some of our favourite stills taken from the day!
