This is a beautiful love story of a talented seamstress and a fantastic sculptor. Despite living down in the 'big smoke' of London, Jan and Katie had staged their wonderful wedding at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, near Katie's home village of Walton.. It could not of been a more perfect venue, with not only a nod to Jan's profession, but also a place with huge childhood memories for Katie and her sister. Her parents used to take them there for 'extreme' picnics in the winter, and at home later, all wrapped up in bed, her dad would read to them from 'The Wind in the Willows', relating it all to the 'wild wood' of the park.
These two were a laugh a minute and just so in love. Trying to film and photograph Jan was almost impossible (as he never EVER stands still!). To amplify that fact, their first dance was to the killer drum and bass track 'Feel The Love' (ft. John Newman) by Rudimental!
So my most soulful singing voice "You know I said its true, I can feel the love, can you feel it too?"
xx
