Love Is Like An Onion...

We first met Scott and Sam at another wedding, where they were they hair team to make our bride, Ashlin look like a gorgeous 20's movie star for her wedding. Neither of us actually knew that Scott and Same were together, we just knew they were super cool, and that we liked working with them.

Fast forward, and we end up shooting these talented, stylish people's wedding! Their families (nieces and nephews!) and friends are amazing - and I have a particular love for Sam's dad. I think we need another get together, Ed! We had a great day with them, and even managed to get by with minimal rain! Set at the gorgeous Salford Cathedral, and at the super cool, forest-like setting of Egerton House, it was an amazing wedding with amazing people.  And Sam's dress had a peplum skirt to add for the night!  It was seriously perfection.

Old Friend, New Love ...

Peter is an old friend. The life of the party, one hell of a designer, and hands down one of the craziest, funniest people I have ever met. In fact, we met in an airport terminal, along with his (and now my) good friend Tim, and they graciously accepted me into their group of awesome / mental friends. Almost 10 years later, here we are. Enter Sarah. Gorgeous, sweet, a fantastic designer, and patient (crazy) enough to put up with Pete and his friends. She tamed him, perhaps (and hopefully) not all the way, but he is a new Pete, a Pete in love.

It is always the coolest thing when a friend trusts you with their wedding, and we can't wait to do this one next year and to get to know Sarah better. They wanted to do their engagement shoot in Downtown LA, because that is where they have made their life together in a beautiful loft with their dog, Willow AND that's where they are getting married. I think it is perfect for them.

Dream Impossible...

Today, we share the full wedding film for Tatiana and Joe...aka Tati G and J-BiZzNys (you will get it when you watch). These two are unlike anyone we have ever met. They exude positivity and light, and you want to be a part of everything they do, say and are. Two people so well matched, that they are an extension of each other - finishing sentences, playing off of one another, and ball-so-hard swag for dayyyysssssss.

We can't tell you how happy and excited we are to have met these people, and to have made genuine friends not only with them, but their loved ones too. We are so excited for their future, not only in marriage, but in business and life. Huge things for these two and all around them.

We can all benefit from having positive people in our lives - people who pick us up and remind us that life is what you make of it. My favorite line from the film is something that Joe said..."Do what you do, and YOU make that hot".  True story. And that, my friends is exactly what Tot and Joe are all about. So, I leave you with the Hotness, the Baron and Baroness of Swag, the Magical Motivational Mavericks, the Guru's of Go Hardness... Tatiana and Joe Buysssssss

All The World's A Stage...

Natalie and Rob had one of the most interesting venues we have ever shot for a wedding - they were married at a theatre. They actually made local history too, as they were the first people to ever be married on that stage - the same stage that Natalie used to perform on as a child, and the same stage that 20 years ago (to the day!), Natalie performed Grease.

They dined on mince and slices of quince...

We really are so fortunate in what we do to make a living. We meet the greatest people, get to go to the coolest places, and get to celebrate week in and week out. It is a happy work environment, and we leave every wedding absolutely buzzing - speaking of buzzing, if we accepted every offer for a drink from generous wedding guests and clients, we would be more than buzzing...we would actually be wasted. HA!

We knew we would love Tamsin and Grant from our first Skype meeting. They were really excited, and kind, and really open to our creativity. Completely laid back and cool. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to plan a wedding in Scotland when you live in Australia! Tamsin wasn't stressed a bit.. at least we couldn't tell if she was! When we finally met them in person, they even more welcoming, and I felt like we had known them for ages. In fact, everyone welcomed us, and treated us as part of the celebration. We loved being a part of this special event(s) - it was also Tamsin's birthday! Grant can officially NEVER forget his anniversary.

It was easy to tell the story of two jet-setters in love...and we loved every minute of it.



And for the record, yes, all the guys ARE in fact TRUE Scotsmen...

Double The Fun...

So, we showed you the film, and now we have the pictures of the day we spent with the Adams family. Pretty much the cutest family ever, AND dad Ryan is a pretty big deal these days...you may have seen him in Propel ads in Men's Health, on buses, etc...basically, he is the man.

Awesome, right?!

It's crazy to see how much the boys have grown and changed since our last shoot!
