Steve and Daniela are beautiful people, inside and out. You know those folks who just exude happiness? Those people that make your face slowly creep into a smile no matter what the situation? Times that by ten, and you might get close to Steve and Daniela. They light up the room, and most importantly, they light each other up. When they say each other's name, or read a note that the other has written, you can literally see love on their faces. To say they are 'in love' with each other just doesn't cut it. They exemplify all that encompasses finding that one person you care for so deeply, nothing else in the world matters.
A knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie, so according to Hindu tradition, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel. Given that Steve and Daniela got married on probably the rainiest day in LA in the past five years, I would say that makes their union unbreakable. Knowing these two like we do, I would bet my life on it.

The Perfect Halo...
Erin and Chris met in what they say is a "quasi-embarrassing" way, Match.com, but to me, there is absolutely no reason to feel embarrassed about that, it is the sign of the times. And thank God for that, because a dating site has brought these two, as well as 5 other couples of ours together! Rad.
This wedding was one we looked forward to from the word go. Maybe it was the fact that it was in Bora Bora? Maybe it was the fact that it was the smallest wedding we had ever been asked to shoot - only 7 including the bride and groom. Or maybe it was the fact that we instantly clicked, and I knew we would be friends once it was all said and done. Whatever it was, we were beyond excited to meet these people in person, tell their amazing story in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and be a part of something only a few people had the honor of seeing happen live. And I wasn't wrong about being friends - these guys are real-deal "lifers" now. We miss them already! So, I won't let you wait another second... the awesome trailer...

Someone Like You...
Today, it is my absolute pleasure to share Craig and Danielle's gorgeous wedding film with all of you. It is always fun shooting a wedding when you know people there - when you shoot weddings, sooner or later, you start to get hired by friends and by friends of friends, and by friends of guests. That overlap is always fun, and kinda weird in an awesome way. Weddings allow us to make so many new friends, and meet people from everywhere. It is one of the greatest perks of what we do. This wedding had a lot of those kind of perks…I even made a little cameo during the dance party!
We loved shooting Craig and Danielle, telling their story and being a part of their beautiful winter wedding. Seeing them together and hearing them describe how they met, and finally fall in love was a true honour (and a crack up!). Watch their film, and hear their story…you will love it.

Spring Has Sprung...
I just love this shoot! I am so happy to finally feature the photos we did with the Meredith family on our last trip to LA. If you missed their super cute film, HAVE to check it out - they are the raddest little family, with the coolest, most effortless style you've ever seen. I can't wait for our next play date with Zach!
And a little side note, crafty mom Kelly has the raddest business called Kelto's Totes, where she makes unique and personalized canvas bags made from recycled organic cotton with felt letters made from recycled plastic bottles. Seriously, so cute!

I Love, Love, Love You...
I love, love, love you - the words Christina finished her card to Fergus on the day of their wedding. Everything about the way they love each other is extra, feels deeper and sweeter. They have their own unspoken language, understand and compliment each other completely and utterly. Their love and their story inspires, and here it is in pictures. If you missed their emotional and beautiful wedding film trailer, check it out here, and their full film here.
Huge thanks to my amazing second shooter on this wedding, Laura Power!
