Groove Is In The Heart...

Genevieve and Chris are so cute, and SO in love. I mean, hearing Chris say his vows to her, you could hear and feel how genuine he was. Every word was deliberate - he was absolutely present in that very moment, and it was honestly, magic. I can't help but cry when I watch them, hear them, and re-live what a beautiful day it was. Congratulations, Vivi and Chris - we wish you the very best, we thank you for trusting us to tell your story, and we thank you both for being absolutely candid and present in every single moment. A beautiful beginning to what will without doubt be a long, happy, FUN marriage.

And That's How The Story Goes...

When you start shooting weddings, you work with lots of people you don't know, some that you do, and sometimes, you even get to work with family. It is a really hard decision to make when family is involved - do we work, or do we decide to be guests only? It is impossible to be both, which is why we don't really do it.

We did, however, make an exception to shoot my cousin Vivi's wedding. Part of me still would have liked to be just a guest, but I am so glad that we got to tell her story and put our stamp on it. I've known her since she was born, and it was a great honor. With that said, I hope we did her justice - here is Vivi and Chris.

Spring Has Sprung...

I just love this shoot!  I am so happy to finally feature the photos we did with the Meredith family on our last trip to LA. If you missed their super cute film, HAVE to check it out - they are the raddest little family, with the coolest, most effortless style you've ever seen. I can't wait for our next play date with Zach!

And a little side note, crafty mom Kelly has the raddest business called Kelto's Totes, where she makes unique and personalized canvas bags made from recycled organic cotton with felt letters made from recycled plastic bottles. Seriously, so cute!

Let's Ride...

So, recently our good friends Kevin and Kelly asked us to hang with them at their house to take some pictures and shoot some video. We obviously jumped at the opportunity, and had the greatest time hanging out with the beyond cool Zach, and his bestie, RB Jones. Seeing Red...

Under "adorable" in the dictionary, I bet you would find a picture of the Nehme family! Outside of the dazzling smiles (thanks mom!), and the beyond cute outfits (mom is also a photographer - clearly she knows what she's doing!), they are the nicest family - we love hanging out. I think Jackson may get progressively more interested in coming along too…just saying. *wink* We had the best time shooting with them, and we can't wait for next time! Also, a side note - congrats to the beautiful Summer (big sis), who just got signed with Brand Models AND happy birthday to big girl Reese!

Time To Pretend...

We love hanging out with the Adams family! This is our third shoot with them, and it is so cool to see how the boys grow and develop every 6 months. Jackson has become good friend with the boys also, and since they are so close in age, we can make a great day out of it with all the kids!

Walkin' On A Dream...

It is so sweet to watch a family spend time together doing the little things. Seeing them interact, laugh, play and cuddle is one of the greatest parts of our job. Hanging out with The Zang's was so much fun - we felt like old friends, and we could tell how much fun these guys always have together! Little Cole is an absolute doll, and he was the smiliest and happiest little dude. We can't wait to see him grow up - hopefully in front of our lenses! What You Give Is What You Getz....

We literally loved hanging out with these guys in DC. It was our first real trip there and we got to spend it with Julie, Aaron and most importantly, little Arthur! They were super fun and not only that, but gave us a personal tour of all the Washington hot spots. We having been trying to make this little family shoot work for SO long, it was amazing that it finally worked out and we got to document such a wonderful day. As the sun set on Capitol Hill, Arthur (with the help of his giant balloon!) managed to stand on his own too! Not long until the walking starts guys......

Double The Fun...

So, we showed you the film, and now we have the pictures of the day we spent with the Adams family. Pretty much the cutest family ever, AND dad Ryan is a pretty big deal these days...you may have seen him in Propel ads in Men's Health, on buses, etc...basically, he is the man.
