Happy Friday! We decided to kick off a weekend of awesome posts with this one, part 2 of Gabby and Matt's incredible wedding celebration! If you missed part 1, check it out HERE. This post is all about their traditional Coptic ceremony, held in Matt's hometown of Brighton. If you have never seen or been to one, it is one of the most beautiful, colourful ceremonies ever. Songs, incense, prayer, crowns, cloaks, and a reverent tradition that is mesmerising. I was like a kid in a candy store - had no idea what was coming next, but was in heaven. And can we talk about how beautiful these people are, please?!
Stay tuned for part 3, coming soon - their SECOND wedding in Miami! It won't disappoint!

Bring Me A Higher Love....
We already introduced you to Steve and Daniela a few weeks ago, and we can't wait to share their full film with you. Shot in a rainy downtown Los Angeles, I was totally honored to witness such beautiful people, such beautiful friends hold each other's hands and say I do.
They have known each other a lifetime already, meeting at school and even staying in touch through college. They have traveled many different paths that all led back to the same road. Fate? Chance? Destiny? Maybe it was a touch of all of these, with a little luck thrown in for good measure. Whatever the universe did, however, it got figured out - whichever higher power made this so, the fact is, it brought together two people who were meant to be. I think Daniela put it best herself when she wrote to Steve on the morning of the wedding:
"I realized I hade been following your around for 11 years without even knowing it. Every change and lesson brought me closer to you, and prepared me to love you"
With such preparation, and that time allowing a friendship to grow into a wonderful relationship, I can only imagine what their life will be like together from this point on. Full of laughter, full of joy and without doubt, full of love. We love these two with all our hearts, and we know you all will too.

How Deep Is Your Love...
Today, we share part one of Matt and Gabby's gorgeous wedding photos. They actually had three very distinct parts to their wedding, each important and completely different…all so beautiful.
Part one shows the pre-wedding henna ceremony; a tradition deeply rooted in Matt's Egyptian and Sudanese background. They say that the darker the henna stains the skin, the deeper the love between the bride and groom. Gabby's was black, and I can't say that is surprising - they are so deeply in love it is inspiring.
The event was so awesome to watch and be a part of, and for American bride Gabby, it was fantastic to see her join in and really get immersed in her husband-to-be's culture. She had no idea what to expect, and neither did I to be honest, but it really was magical. Joyful, fun, loud, colourful, reverent, beautiful, and beyond memorable. So excited to share this with you!

Home Team...
I can't tell you how amazing this wedding was. Where it was, who it was, how intimate it was… it was magical. Seven people watched Chris and Erin get married on a sand bar at the foot of the ocean on a private island in Bora Bora, and we were two of them. Unbelievably humbled by the experience, and so grateful to have made lifelong friends in these two.
Here is their beautiful story…

Ho, Hey...
If you saw their wedding film trailer, you would know that Katie and Jonny are pretty rad - you would know that they met working at Restaurant Gordon Ramsey. Her, as personal assistant to the chef, and him as a sous chef. You would know that they love adventure, and you would also know that they planned an amazing weekend for all their nearest and dearest with a menu that did nothing less than amaze.
What you might not know is that their friends and family made a music video for them to The Lumineers "Ho, Hey", which had everyone lip-syncing the song to them, which was played at the party. It was pretty special, and it just goes to show how great these two are. Their friends and family rallied around them with special touches and lent their expertise to help make this wedding weekend incredibly memorable, absolutely perfect, and quintessentially Katie and Jonny.
